Vimala Public School annual report 2025-2026

A Year Where Every Child Became a Story

“All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.” — Isaiah 54:13

Vimala Public School stands today as a radiant beacon of excellence, rooted in a proud legacy that dates back to 1997. Over the years, it has profoundly shaped the intellectual, moral and socio-cultural fabric of Thodupuzha. We remain steadfast in our commitment to prepare young minds for academic excellence, to mould character through unwavering values, to nurture a deep love for God, and to cultivate a sincere spirit of service towards society and our nation.

Our foremost emphasis is on human excellence—moulding children into well-integrated, emotionally mature, patriotic, compassionate and socially responsible individuals.

As we pen the chronicles of yet another academic year, we reflect upon a journey enriched with growth, learning, resilience and shared dreams. Not every year leaves a footprint. Some simply pass. But there are years that remain—etched in effort, echoed in applause and remembered in gratitude. The academic year 2025–2026 was one such year: a year when every corridor spoke of commitment, every classroom breathed discipline, every stage witnessed courage, and every child mattered.

The Year Begins – With Light and Purpose

On the second of June, when the monsoon sky watched gently, Vimala opened its gates once again—not merely to students, but to dreams waiting to grow. Prayer rose softly in the auditorium, binding young hearts in unity. New students stepped in with wonder and new teachers joined with dedication.

At the centre stood Rev. Sr. Elize CMC, our Principal, whose vision blends academic excellence with moral clarity, together with the gracious presence of Sr. Stany, our Director. A lamp was lit—not just as ritual, but as responsibility. The light passed from the Principal to the teachers, and from the teachers to every child. Because at Vimala, knowledge is not possessed. It is passed on.

When the Earth Became a Teacher

On World Environment Day, hands that write examinations touched soil. Saplings were planted by the Principal, the Eco Club and students who learned that the future is fragile and protection begins early. These saplings travelled home, where parents became partners and responsibility took root.

Academic Excellence – Where Every Mark Has a Name

Merit Day arrived not as a celebration of a few, but as recognition of many who dared to strive. In the inspiring presence of Dr. Babu Sebastian, former Vice-Chancellor of M.G. University, excellence stood tall.
